Description: Members of The United States Army Field Band were honored to perform the work of Tyler Esquivel, a student composer from Chinle High School in Chinle, Arizona. Mr. Esquivel wrote Lost in the Golden Age for string quartet when he was an apprentice with the Native American Composer Apprentice Project, part of the Grand Canyon Music Festival, where he worked with Navajo composer, Raven Chacon. We are thrilled to present this live recording from our October 2019 performance in Flagstaff, Arizona in honor of Native American Heritage Month. Flute - Staff Sgt.
